Calendar Settings — Administrator Guide
The Calendar Settings module in Zaris CRM allows administrators to configure default scheduling preferences for all CRM users. These settings define how meetings, calls, and tasks are displayed, scheduled, and managed, ensuring consistency and productivity across teams.
Team-wide defaults
One place to set start day, formats, and time zone for every user in the organization.
Calls & events
Default durations, activity types, event status, and popup reminder intervals.
Calendar views
Choose default My Calendar and MyCalendar views agenda, day, week, or month.
Accessing Calendar Settings
Where to find calendar configuration
Administrators adjust scheduling defaults that apply across the CRM calendar experience.
- Go to Settings → My Preferences → Calendar Settings.
- Configure start days, time formats, default durations, and reminders.
- Click Edit on the top right, modify fields, then Save to apply.
Review current calendar defaults
The read-only Calendar Settings screen shows all active values in a two-column layout — MY PREFERENCES expanded in the sidebar with Calendar Settings selected.
Editing the Calendar Settings
Click Edit, update dropdowns and the hide-completed checkbox, then Save to apply team-wide scheduling defaults.
Configurable Options
Each option controls how calendars behave for users across your Zaris CRM organization.

| Default Call Duration (Mins) | Specify the standard duration for scheduled calls. | e.g., 15 or 30 minutes |
| Other Event Duration (Mins) | Set the default duration for meetings or reminders. | e.g., 30 or 60 minutes |
| Default Event Status | Choose the initial status for newly created events. | Planned, In Progress |
| Default Activity Type | Set the default type of activity. | Call or Meeting |
| Popup Reminder Interval | Define when the system sends a reminder before an event. | 1 Minute, 5 Minutes |
