A Service Contract is an agreement to provide service on a product for a limited period. Zaris CRM centralizes subjects, dates, tracking units (Hours, Days, Incidents), priorities and status links service requests and documents, and boosts customer satisfaction through clear, healthy trading relationships.

Manage every service contract in one place
Go to Support → Service Contracts to open the list view. Add, import, or customize columns, then filter by subject, contract number, related account, dates or assignee. Row actions open Details, Edit, or Delete for fast maintenance.
- Subject, contract number, related to, start date, due date and assigned to.
- Per-column search and pagination (1 to 14 of ?).
- Bulk tools: More ServiceContracts, Edit, Delete and More actions.
Linking Service Requests and Documents to a Service Contracts
You can add any number of Service Requests and Documents to Service Contracts.
Follow these steps to add products or services to the price book:
- Go to the Support on main menu.
- Click Service Contracts. The List View opens.
- Select and click to open a Service Contracts record. The Summary View of the record opens.
- In the Summary View, select Service Requests or Documents.
- Click Service Requests if you want to link or generate a tickets. The Tickets List View opens.
- By default, the screen displays tickets already available for the Service Contracts.
- Click and Link Ticket with the Service Contracts entry.
- Click Add.
- Note: Click Documents if you want to link a Documents. Follow the same process for adding a Documents record.
Service contract details & unit tracking
Open any contract for the full summary subject, related account, type, dates, tracking unit (Hours, Days, Incidents), total vs used units, status and priority. Tabs link Service Requests and Documents without leaving the record.
- Hours → Days → Incidents progress for the active tracking unit.
- Planned vs actual duration and contract number (e.g. SERCON12).
- Import/export via Excel, .csv or .vcf when you need bulk updates.
Details, Edit, Delete from the list
Use the ⋮ menu on any row for Details, Edit, or Delete no second list view required.
Quick Create Service Contract
Capture subject, assignee, dates, tracking unit and units in a compact modal or open the full form for every field.
- Click Add Service Contracts Button.
- Enter or select the following information on the modal:
- Subject – Type the subject name.
- Type – Enter the type of the contract.
- Assigned To – Select to whom the contract is assigned.
- Tracking Unit – Select an Option (Hours, Days, Incidents).
- Start Date – Enter the date on which the Service contract begins.
- Due Date – Enter the date on which the Service contract ends.
- Total Units – Enter the number of service instances you would offer.
- Used Units – Automatically updated when the Status field of Case associated with the Service Contract is set to Closed.
- Click Save.
