PDF Designer Module
The PDF Designer Module in Zaris CRM is a powerful tool that allows you to create unlimited, fully customizable templates for both standard and custom modules. With its intuitive interface, users can design dynamic, HTML-rich templates that can be exported as PDFs, sent directly via email, or saved as documents for future use. Whether it’s business proposals, invoices, contracts, or reports, the PDF Designer makes it simple to deliver professional and consistent documents that enhance customer experience and streamline internal processes.
How to Add a PDF Designer
Click Add PDF Designer
Open PDF Designer → click Add PDF Designer (top-right).
The Designer page opens where you’ll create and configure your template.
Enter Template Basics
Template Name: Give a clear, descriptive name (e.g., “Invoice – Standard”, “Proposal – Marketing”).
Select Module: Choose module where this template should be available (e.g., Invoices, Quotes, Sales Orders, Opportunities).
- Select Placeholder: Select the Placeholder of a module.
Design the Template
You have two main ways to build the template:
A. Use WYSIWYG / Drag & Drop editor (recommended)
Insert placeholders from the Insert Field dropdown (Customer Name, Quote Number, Products, Totals, etc.).
Add images (logo), headers, footers, and product tables.
Arrange layout visually and adjust styling.
B. Use Existing HTML
Paste your custom HTML/CSS if you prefer full control.
Use CRM field placeholders (example:
{{lead.name}}) to inject dynamic data.
Customize Widget Properties
The Properties Section in PDF Designer gives you full control over the styling and behavior of widgets within your template. Similar to website builders like WordPress, this section allows you to fine-tune the look and layout of each element, ensuring your documents match your brand identity.
Widget Styling – Adjust spacing, alignment, font sizes, and colors for individual elements.
Custom Classes & IDs – Assign your own CSS classes and IDs to apply advanced styling or reference elements in custom scripts.
Responsive Adjustments – Optimize widget appearance across different PDF layouts for better readability.
Preview Changes – Instantly see how your adjustments affect the final PDF design before saving.
