Kanban View Overview
The Kanban View Module provides a visual way to manage records across different stages of a process. It helps users quickly track, organize, and update records through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. This feature is accessible in every module by clicking the Kanban Icon located next to the action buttons in the module header.
Accessing Kanban View
To access Kanban View:
Go to any module (e.g., Leads, Opportunities, Projects).
Click on the Kanban Icon in the header, next to the list view toggle.
The system will display your records as categorized cards, grouped by a selected primary field (like Lead Source or Stage).
This view allows quick navigation between records, helping you visualize workflow progress at a glance.
Configuring Kanban View
The Settings button in the top-left corner allows users to customize their Kanban View based on their preferences.
You can:
Select Primary Field: Choose a key field (e.g., Lead Source, Status) to group records under.
Add or Remove Categories: Define columns (like Cold Call, Existing Customer, Self Generated).
Configure Tile Fields: Choose which fields to display on each card (e.g., First Name, Lead Number).
Add More Fields: Include additional fields to display more information on the Kanban tiles.
This configuration ensures the Kanban layout suits your workflow and data-tracking needs.
Quick Create Functionality
From the Kanban view, you can Quickly Add New Records by clicking the “+ Add New” button under any category.
The Quick Create Lead popup form includes:
First Name
Last Name (required)
Primary Phone
Company
Primary Email
Assigned To (required)
Color Indicator (for visual grouping)
Lead Source
This feature simplifies the process of adding new leads or records directly from the Kanban interface without switching to other pages.
